Another interesting fact…Ann “Muffet” McGraw’s Notre Dame team won the National Championship in 2001. She ranked second on the all-time" wins list" regardless of the sport in the 127-year history of Fighting Irish athletics, trailing only the fencing coach. Muffet McGraw has been voted "Coach of the Year" six times in different conferences.
