Sara DeCosta Hayes

Another interesting fact…In 2000, not only did Sara DeCosta graduate from Providence College, but that same year she won a silver medal at the World Championships and was named USA Hockey’s Women’s Player of the Year. She repeated those latter 2 feats again in 2002 - USA Hockey Women’s Player of the Year and silver medal, this year it was in the Salt Lake City Olympics.
